Yes ..just pop the disk in an it will update itself ..

You need to bring the passenger as far forward as you can, then upwards to get at the dvd player.

Slide the little slide on the right this unlocks the drive mechanism..then eject on the left.

Lock the slide afterwards Thumbs Up

Probably a really stupid question, and has nothing to do with the sat nav.

But when people say eg, MY 07? what do you mean?
Confused

Devon coverage

Does the Navteq DVD Version 2007/2008, part no. YIW500260 include the new downstream bridge over the River Taw near BARNSTAPLE N.Devon?

If bridge included I shall purchase now, if not I shall wait until next year.

Best regards.

Bernard.

Fair point!
In and around Barnstaple the road network has been changed big time.
I wish to be sure of buying up to date DVD.

Mac OSX, whatever sat nav DVD you buy, it will always be out of date as information on them is usually at least 12 months old when they are released!

Mac

New bridge / cutting is definitely not on the 260 DVD as I have it and am based in Barnstaple. It works just fine though and the nav doesn't have a fit as you float over the river and readjusts by the time you are at the other side. You just have to "know" that you're better off not going through town which isn't too bad if you're local.

I expect it will be fun for all the tourists with in car nav though as there isn't anything too obvious on the link road that says "use the new bridge to avoid town" so they'll still get directed round the old ring road.

Cheers,
Pete.

Many thanks. I shall wait. Accept all maps out of date, the best being SatNav maps that are updated via Web, incar systems are not.

As barnstaple car parks have a weight limit of 45cwt and D3 weighs in at 50cwt and my home is on the edge of town I do not take D3 into town.

Navteq website shows new road network around barnstaple (navteq porkie pies).

I expect these will be the last road changes for a long time, with the exception of dedicating road to PSVs.

Many thanks to all who replied.

Bernard

So are they all build on soft clay foundations and you'll sink into the ground Thud

FFS why are there weight limits in car parks ?
