If they are like the Pulborough branch they will be good.
I notice that there have been a lot of LR adverts in online papers mentioning active roll mitigation with an animated D3 going round bends, is the same as the RRS handling pack or something new?? DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

[quote="Blakey"]BREAKING NEWS
Is Jomo a scaremonger or has he been stitched up ?.....]
Blakey...Just passin' on what I was told.
If nobody else has heard of the mythical door seal problem, I think we can assume it's probably just dealer BS to cover for placing the order late or over-committing on the original delivery date
06 or 07 MY....guess I'll find out in two weeks. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

My bum got out of it at 01.00hrs this morning and was out of bed at 05.40.
Plenty of coffee throughout, although the eyes are bit bad the permagrin does not change.
Been playing with SatNav today, did not go far as I had to be in for the Tracker to be fitted.
So permagrins for now, catch up later.

Jomo
Sorry if you felt bad about my scaremonger bit, but I have read there are some people who get a kick out of doing it.
I was only pointing out that when I spoke to my salesman on Friday 08/09/06 about payment details I mentioned to him that I suppose your going to tell me there is a delay on the vehicle due to rear door seals and he said no, I am going to tell you that the vehicle will be delivered to the dealers on Mon 11/09/06, being 1 week earlier than expected date.
Hope I did not offend you in anyway but as stated 'scaremonger or stitched up'.

I am currently waiting for my 07MY Stornoway Grey SE, and my dealer has called me to let me know there is a 17 day delay. This has been caused by RRS door seal issues, not LR. The issue has been resolved but now they have picked up production to clear the RRS back log, they are short of delivery trucks to get all the vehicles out to the dealers!!
Instead of this saturday I have to wait another 2 weeks....

Delivery date on my SE has been slipped.....again
Ajolious, your post sort of ties in with what I'm hearing. I've been told my vehicle has been built (as an 07MY) but LR will not release it until 3rd October because they are too busy shipping out remaining 06MY builds.
This of course raises the question of why my car, ordered as an 06MY, is not part of that backlog
I have to admit to a SOH failure when the date slipped again, but dealer has offered a loaner (Freelander) in the interim which I guess they didn't have to so they have redeemed themselves a little (though I still don't have a firm delivery date !) Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.
