Anyone know when the 07 build Disco 3's are being built.
Due to pick my one up 20/09/06, it was ordered in May 2006 as a 06MY, but speaking to LR customer services at the end of July they informed me it may be an 07 MY.
Anyone got a 07 build recently.

I've been told October or November for the 07. Looks like you will just miss or be very lucky.

If you have a factory order vehicle, and you have been given an delivery date of 20/9, your vehicle is probably in production right now. Work on the basis of two weeks prior to delivery to your dealer, not you, and you won't be far off the mark.

Lets hope it's lucky...
Will not matter anyway, just getting it after the long wait will be great...
Only 17 more days....unless it's a few days early.

Went on the Heritage factory tour a while back and was told that 07 build starts on 25th September so dealer demos will be arriving in October. They may have changed their mind since then!

I've been told that mine will be Oct / Nov, the wait is killing me . Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.

Mines delivering end of September, not sure exact date yet but it will be built before 25th and I've been told its an 07 build by my mate who works for main dealer - he triple checked yesterday. 07 is mainly software upgrades. He was not aware of the BIO deisel compatability that I had read about somewhere on the forum. He said bio would apply to the Jags to and he deffo heard nothing as he's the main Jag Trainer for ireland.

Baldrick, I found out that there was positive mention of biodiesel in a D3 Owners Guide and posted it in another forum.
LeighW wrote:Specific reference to bio-diesel (edited for this post; about non-use) was made in the RHD markets Owner's Manuals for 2004, 2005 and 2006 but the 2007 manual says on p188
"The maximum allowable Bio-diesel mix is 5%, meeting EN 590 specification."
You can reference the 2007 Owners Guide for the main trainer from Jag. Because the Jag uses a twin-turbo setup, there may be more work involved in getting that engine to drink biodiesel. And most Jag owners would not live in areas that had substandard fuel I wouldn't imagine. LeighW
The old girl is on her third engine...
* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

That make sense Leigh. To clarify what he said ( now that you reminded me) is that it won't run on pure bio. He did mention possibility of a partial mix if anything. In fairness, who would be arsed standing a a pump tring to figure out how much was already in the tank and what needed to be added. Unless someone offers a pump with 5% bio mix, I can't see how I'd use it. 2007 MY Irish spec S+ TDV6

Thanks everyone for your response's, only 14 days now before I lose myself into another planet called DISCOVERY 3.
I'm gonna have to wait and see what build I get, but as I posted before just getting it will be OK, after all an 06MY build will still give me a h**d on.
Once again thanks for your posts and I will probably need plenty more help and advice from you guys in the coming month's.
