I've been away on hols so was a bit late in sorting my copy outbut received today. A neat coffee table book for the LR nut. Number 100 Very Happy

Many thanks Martin, Euan and LR and I very much hope this has been a useful contribution to a great cause.

BUT, come on folks, how did no one pick up on the mention of the "Ogura Combitool" as part of the "kit they took with them". What? I hear you ask. Well, I thought it might be the latest and best version of, say, a Leatherman on similar. And it is:

&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DfFN7WBmSYZU

Now, who is going to deny that they really, really neeeed one of these.

Its already been done

there are only a few left

I've got mine - brilliant book
 BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Mine arrived yesterday (No 90) such a nice looking book seems a shame to open it and read it given the rarity of it

Just found reference to the book on a LR news blog at the time....
http://www.roverguide.com/16550/land-rover...very-book/

Particularly liked this quote

"We’re still a little old-fashioned in that we love the smell of fresh ink and the feel of paper, so we’re going to be finding out where we can get our hands on the real deal. We’re assuming it will be made available through Land Rover retailers and probably other standard outlets like Amazon and B&N."

....who wants to tell them.... Snigger
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Locking rear E-diff
RLD spare wheel protector & sump guard
Extended roof rails
Series 111 mudflaps
Black side tubes,grill and vents
Timed climate remote
Hids4u interior lights

D4 Firenze my2012 HSE
D3 Java 2005 SE manual (sold, sadly, thanks for the memories)
1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...
