Just back from the dealers this morning and they had a fantastic book chronicling the journey from Birmingham to Beijing....8000 miles in 50 days.it was a brilliantly photographed,in-depth record of the preparation,and the trip itself.
I asked if they had any others for sale,and he said they only got 1 from LR as a marketing exercise.......however I did notice it had rrp £25.99 on the inside cover......which suggested to me it might be for sale somewhere......I hate fleabay and wondered if anyone else has one,or knows where I could buy one ? "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Did it have an ISBN or barcode on the back at all as nothing is showing on the bay like that from what i can see? FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner 
Test piloted a new D4 XS SDV6.. Gone and being forgotten i hope!!

Right,just had a chat with a nice lady from FPCreative,the people who created the book for LR.
She is going to look into it further and try and get some concrete figures together,but she suggested to get the cost to around £35 per unit,they would need an order in excess of 2000..... I'm pretty sure we won't get a sign-up on here of 2000 or more,and I'm not writing a cheque for £70k on the off-chance I'll sell them 
The originals were lithographically printed for the LR Global PR Team,and there is a possibility of them being digitally produced,which would reduce costs,but not significantly.
I am going to e-mail the Global PR Team,and find out if there is any other way of doing this.....I would love this book to be available to a wider audience "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
