Well done,

Mine clocked the 100k back in june and is now sitting at 112k at the mo,I got it 1 year ago at 82k.

The more i read on here the more confidence i have about taking this to 200k or 300k.

To echo Bazza's sentiments.
Mine is on 153,000 miles - all driven by me from new.
Absolutely stonking motor, not even thinking about getting rid of it.

I always keep my Land rovers for many years and rack up the miles. But when I bougt my current D3 planned to move it on in 3 years and get a D4 but may kit mine up and keep it for years.I was nervous about a high miler D3 but will just see how time rolls by I guess.
Other option is to just make sure the bolt on bits swap over if at all possible.

Any mega bills in that time (apart from fuel Laughing ) or just routine maintenance.

I'm wondering about gearbox etc.

When I part ex'd my D3 last year with 75,000 miles on, it was met with much 'umming' and 'ahhrring' about the 'high milage' at only 3 years old.

But let me tell you, that car was like new!

Tight as a nuns!

Even though we have the D4, I miss it! Big Cry

Our esteemed high miler is Character

I am not sure of his exact mileage, but it must coming up to 400k now. I believe it is still on all the original major components too.

Oh, and he tows heavy trailers for a living with the D3, so any qualms about the D3 being a fragile car are well and truly sidelined by his car.
