12s wire up

Hi all.
I’ve just brought my 2nd disco 3hse on a 55 plate ( sold 07 one in February)
Has anyone wired up a 12s before and is it easy-ish?
I’ve been looking at prices for this and looks quite expensive, about £100- £200 Shocked
so is there a cheaper way of doing this? Question
Or do I have to get a specific one for the d3?
Anyone with knowledge or an idea would be great
And also anyone know where to get a cheap one?

Cheers

thanks

Thumbs Up
thanks to all your replies, it does look relatively straight forward, so will get a lead already made up and (try) give it a go, Confused
i did put one in on my disco2, but wasnt sure if it would interfere with the other electrices, like showing fault lights on the dash on d3.

i will keep you posted and let you know if it goes well or not well Laughing

thanks again.

Hi

Don’t forget the towing socket mounts sideways , u will also need the spacer and rubber cover , also a 15amp fuse

Just looking for some links

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12n-and-12s-7-p...SwWxNYzAJ7

I also used stainless steel fixing bolts

Can’t find the spacer required

Hi gs
I did try it all ways still no joys Censored
What spacer are you talking about?
I’ve put an inline fuse to the main with a waterproof case Thumbs Up

So it’s a standard 12s plug? The grey one Question

Cheers
