13 pin plug to 2 x 7 pin sockets

I'm hoping this is not a stupid questionbut I've just read that if you have a 13 pin plug to 2 x 7 pin sockets adapter for the caravan its 2018 and new the disco is 2010 it wont charge your battery or work the fridge while towing anyone advise me if correct or false? thanks Martin

i was running this on my 2010 disco and it always ran the fridge when towing no problem on my 13 pin van

twin male breakout plugs to 13 pin female connector MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car
MY10 HSE D4 auto
MY14 XXV more buttons than the spaceshuttle

Providing that the 13-pin socket has been fully and correctly wired, it should do everything. It seems that the “superiorly engineered” German things are the ones that have half the wiring missing! Whistle

if you need the adapter lead let me know as now have 2014 disco with 13 pin so dont need it anymore

it might take me a couple of weeks to find it tho as im currently moving house and living in a sea of boxes MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

I've had an adaptor for years and it works fine. Maybe not all makes of adaptor are the same though . . . ? A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill.
