So if you had 4 x 17" wheels with STT's that have done about 4K miles and two brand STT tyres on good rims (one has a small scratch) What would they be worth ???

I run 17" with STT's. I recently picked up one tyre/rim with 11mm tread for 50 gbp. I paid 131 gbp per corner for brand new STT's and second hand 17" rims (inc fitting etc)
TBH I wouldn't think of paying more than 60 for second hand rims/tyres.
Just my input. I am not interested in any...
(well...my 6th tyre is very much a "spare only" as it has just a few mm of tread...so if yours are split I could be interested in one at the right price... )The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
