Hi guys
Have any of you fitted 2 way radios (29 meg) to your D3's and if so:
a) Where did you place the radio, and
b) How / where did you position the antennae?

The radios in our patrol cars *were* positioned on the coin tray in the dashboard inbetween the two centre air vents where they could be seen (and adjusted) pretty easily. Unfortunately, the new cars we've got have seen them moved to the bottom of the centre console just infront of the gear stick where you can't see the display screen very well at all.
The aerial has always been routed to the rear of the cars roof o where, I beleive, the GPS aerial is on the higher spec ones?
