20" Cooper S/Ts ???

Love my 20" Stormers, but don't like the 295/40 low profile tyres that came with them.
Means I cann't go out to play with the rest of you!!
Now contemplating some beefier tyres with some sidewall!!
Came accross Cooper Discoverer S/T's in 275/60R20 119s [max load 2998].
I know the rolling radius would be greater giving different speedo reading, fuel consumption, gearing ratio etc
Also overall height of vehicle would increase by 20ml.
But I've seen larger radius tyres on Defenders, Disco 1 & 2s etc.
Would these be OK on my D3 [and for everyday use]???
I would like your learned views on this please. Bow down

275/60 R20's are 3" oversize, if there's rubbing with 275/65 R18's which are 2.1" oversize you're going to have trouble with those ST's

Why not just get another smaller set of wheels for off-road use?

This rubbing issue [which currently i dont have], thought this would have been on the inner sidewalls.
But now assume its on the tread area, is this correct?

Thanks Slimer.
Still got my original 18's so it'll be a set of Cooper S/T's for them.
End of thread as far as I'm concerned.

I assume a better tyre than the Coopers??
When are these due?
What is recommended sizing?

They may not be any better but they are due out soon in the correct 255/60 R18 size so no issues with incorrect speed reading and all that

This assumes the speedo was correct in the first place, which they seldom are (generally show a higher speed).

Very true, they generally run slightly high but with the correct size tyres at least the readings are within manufactures spec

I know they have been mentioned before but for occasional and probably only 'event' type usage the Colway A/T
C-Max thingy seems to be available in the correct size and load rating :

"The load index for 255/60R18 C-Trax AT is 112"

speed rating is only Q though I think, and yes I know it's a remould!
 and theeeeennn......???
