Hi All,
I am thinking of buying back the D3 from the insurance if its a write off and stripping it for parts. as the engine is one of the main items I was wondering if anyone was in need of an engine and if so how much would it be worth. if I think i will be able to sell it then i'll make an offer on the salvaged car, otherwise may just have to let it go to the big scrapyard in the sky 
engine was well maintained and had done 95% of its life on the motorway
if anyone is intersested in anything else then please add to this list :
obviously no commitment and we will need to agree a price but i'm just gauging interest at the momen

OK 
gearbox was double flushed just before we went on holiday  what a waste of oil
how much do you think engine and gearbox would be worth - you would need to come and help remove it though as I dont have all the kit to do it myself.
will the engine come out of the engine bay of is it a body off job. i guess panels could be removed and other stuff could be cleared with an angle grinder Duncan

I would be interested in the wiring loom, and amp if it gets split open on the surgeons table
Also the rain sensor module, and light sensor module if they are fitted.
Would come and help remove it if you needed assistance also
