I have a 2010 2.7 d4, I've blanked the egrs,The eml light has not come on,nore has restricted performance,but it shows gearbox fault,has anybody had this fault before ?? And would anyone know a fix for it? Is the gearbox fault related to it as it didn't have the problem before, it now showes engine torque fault (think its u2023) any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a 2010 D4 but the 3.0 in which I also blanked EGRs. No faults at all in over 3000kms so I would guess the fault is not related

Hi MikeBob,
the egrs on the 3.0l seems more complicated than on the 2.7l.
How did you do it?
Did you use any egr patch to fool the system?
Did you have a dpf?

Hi, I just blocked them off and removed the pipes. I live at fairly high altitude and had no trouble at all. I have come to lower altitudes on holiday and now have an engine light with a fault code saying egr flow too low. So I guess the vehicle needs a patch after all. It doesn’t bother me I will just reset it again when I return home. My vehicle only had cats not DPF and they have both been removed
