Hi Steve
In a word "No" I can't help.
Maybe change the subject to something a bit more descriptive...
Possibly "Slight throttle lag; due to play on throttle pedal ?"
Good luck.

2.7 or 3.0 ?
I had the 2.7 in a Jaguar XF and it had terrible turbo lag from stationary. The 3.0 in my D4 was like a scalded cat by comparison.
I had a MY11 built late 2010 so it was still designated as TDV6 prior to LR changing the badging to SDV6. 2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT

My 2010 tdv6 suffered from oil buildup in the second turbo which not only affected the acceleratoin but gave a chance for a james bond escape in a cloud of smoke when you booted it.
Unfortunately that excitement was curtailed with a simple fix by adding a drain to it whihc cost £80
Tc may the odds be ever in your favor

Hi Steve and welcome to the forum.
When posting questions, it would probably get more response if you put the subject of your post to be a preface to what you are about to ask. To simply put the model and year of your vehicle as a title is not drawing people in.
You have filled out your profile, so anybody who needs to know that detail can find it.
Cheers

There is, (with this age of Disco 4 anyway) a bit of a lag before it takes off from a standing start when you want to accelerate quickly. There's quite a few threads on it and possible fixes, all of which I recall reporting some limited success (remapping and the like). I think they're pretty old threads on here now though.
It can cause your heart to miss a beat thinking that the vehicle isn't going to accelerate much, but then it does. Mine certainly does it. I think the best (certainly the cheapest) solution is to persevere with it and you will find after a while when to push the accelerator to time things right. Works for me, don't really notice it now.
