Hello again,
Does anyone know if the dvd changer is still located in the drivers side rear quarter panel on 2012 models with RSE.
It is on all earlier models, however they know locate the audio amp in there as well - just want to be sure on locations before I attempt my upgrade.

Hi Andrew,
No DVD changer - it utilises the single CD/DVD player in the front.
Mark. Gone: 2010MY 59 plate Bali Blue HSE.
Also gone : 2012MY 12 plate Firenze Red HSE.
In Bits : 2005 55plate 4.0 V8 Ibex 250s SW.

Thanks for your response - are you sure?
I am aware of the single disc in the front, but with factory fit Rear Seat Entertainment I thought you get a seperate 6 disc dvd changer in the boot - you certainly did on the d3 and earlier d4's 
Do you have the system fitted to your d4?

Hi Andrew,
I don't have the DVD in mine - Rear diff lock, and no kids!
D3s & D4 (D4 10MY & 11MY - front CD did not handle DVD), so a seperate unit was required.
I am 100% sure that no changer in the same place in the boot. If there is 1 elsewhere, it is very well hidden as I can not find it!

Mark is right you use the single disk player up front, a memory stick, I pod or portable DVD player vie the plugs near the aux socket but no multi disk Dvd player in the car. OH and yes I have it fitted and can confirm it. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

The hard disk feature is great.
