Anyone got any?
I know some of you chaps keep your ears pretty close to the ground on these matters, so if you have heard anything let me have it!
Depending on what changes there may be forthcoming could be useful to me on Saturday!

Nothing definite, but I have heard that the 3 litre diesel electric hybrid engine might be in the 2013 model.
I hope to be at the factory in Solihull in the coming months......will quietly let people know if I see anything interesting! 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

I wouldn't get your hopes up on that until D5 comes out. They had to remove rear ac to bring down the weight to be able to tax them as cars rather than trucks. I doubt adding batteries and motors to the T5 platform will happen and especially not as part of a mid life re-fresh. I'm told that Hybrid will debut on FFRR 2014MY and this will be the first one closely followed by new Sport.
Minor tweaks on 13MY D4 and a LE or 2

If this is turning into a wish list, I'd like a proper curry hook brought back. For when diet/healthy eating regime finishes.

The diesel electric hybrid idea (as recently tested in public in the RRS) makes sense, as what use is a Land Rover that cannot leave a populated area? (If you see what I mean!). 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

I wouldn't expect to see the hybrid power plant until the next FFRR.... then a smaller version to the Ewok, and a version of that to FL2/3 in due course.
As others have said, weight and platform flexibility is a problem with the Discovery and RRS so I don't expect anything 'hybrid' on the disco until D5 appears.... If it does appear that is.

Exactly, and the next FFRR is due out later this year. With the way fuel prices are going I think LR will be keen to hurry the installing of such plant to the entire range up a bit! 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
