2014 LR4 / Discovery 4 EPB Maintenance Position Trouble

Hi All. I'm replacing the rear brakes on my 2014 LR4 V6. I'm trying to put the Emergency Parking Brake into the maintenance position following Bodsy's bible (press brake pedal 3x, hold and push EPB switch 3-5 sec) but nothing happens. Does this procedure work on the Disco 4?
