Day 1, blitz down to Biarritz and onto Cordoba tomorrow then travel slows a bit.
Left Stratford upon Avon at 3.00am, on earlier train but got bumped by two cars Was crawling with police looking for that escaped con!
Our original train then delayed over an hour due to ‘loading’ issues. Made good time then on clear autoroutes with toll tag slowing us to 30kmh drive throughs. Was in Biarritz at 8.30pm and total journey of 850 miles, all roof down so odd position of ‘cooking’ on front in 36 degrees and rear/back nice and cool on air con seats
