210,000 miles Discovery 4

HI ALL.

A friend of mine is shortly selling one of his airport transfer Discovery 4.

13 plate. Just the GS spec.

Rotary auto selection.

Full service history.

Is it worth a punt for 11,000 pounds?

Vette

edited, Not GSM spec, !!

WBAC would offer just over £11K for my MY10 HSE with 111K on the clock if that helps as guideline

lot of variables ...

2013 so quite new
210K = high miles
airport runs = motorway miles I guess ?
mate = FSH is probably more accurate than many

it's approx. 1/2 what I paid for a 2011 48K XS 12 months ago. if you can live with the mileage, I'd say it's a good deal.

Get car Reg, off Your Pal.
Type into WBAC. Add 1 more owner as you would be.
That's what it's worth..
Simples .......I would say. Thumbs Up

And plug the reg into the MOT website to see what's been flagged (and fixed) at MOTs. https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status Thumbs Up

Thanks,

Most, if not all, was reuniting lost / missed baggage from one airport to another.
Generally always observed motorway speed limits.
I have heard that the 255 bhp engine can be 100% fine one day, then next day spin a mains bearing and totally trash the engine.
Also there are no 3rd party rebuilds available.
All need JLR ?

The 8 speed gearboxes, not heard much upset about them.
Don't know how true it is that no engine spares are available.

It's the miles that worry me.
Also had more than 1 driver.

Thanks
