22 inche wheels questions! Please advise!

Hi everyone!

Found these 22" bling bling at my friend's warehouse and I was wondering whether they will fit to D3. The numbers on the wheels read.....

285/35 R22 W102 tyres
22x9
Load Rating: 2200lbs per wheel
36 ET 15

Anyone know whether they will fit or not?
Thanks
 Jonhklee

Have you posted this to the right forum? Smile
You're wanting to put thos on a D3! Banging Head Far too bling for a D3. The RRS guys will like them though.

Not sure on the sizes. I think I've seen somewhere that someone has fitted some 22" on a D3. You also need to check the bolt pattern on those alloys.

I know they are a bit bling.....but they are going really cheap as he can't find a buyer!! so it will work out cheaper than replacing my standard 20" tyres!!! So a bit of interesting savings really!!

The bolt pattern is fine, I'm just worried about the offset etc.. .etc..

Sorry for blinging

Hi,

while I was looking around at some pictures yesterday in the gallery I saw that 'mrbling' has 22 inch wheels fitted. Might pay to send him a pm.

I'd be thinking also about the load rating of the tyre you think you will fit. It must be the same or higher than that specified.

Each to their own. Too bling for me.

fancy wheels

Hi John

The bolt pattern has to be 5x120, I'm not quite sure about the rest.
If you go in to http://customwheel.com you might be able to find the answers you need. Don't pay attention the all the "funny" remarks in here, the guys writing here are mostly wannabe farmers who have bought a Discovery instead of a tractor Very Happy (probably shouldn't have said that !)
I have 22"x9" wheels on my car, se: www.projectkahndiscovery.com with 285/35 tires and they look super. I must admit though that the wheels you have been offered are a bit too pimpy for a Disco, but taste is induvidual.
All the best from tiny Denmark

Shocked do you have a furry steering wheel and dice too? Wink

Id make sure the tyres have a load index of 111 or better. If you go out of specs on the tyres dont know what your insurance would say if you have a blow out and write off the disco. irrespective of if they know the wheels have been pimped Rolling Eyes Confused
