Snap...........although my large red cable went to the rear! I tucked it behind the foam in the footwell instead of piercing through it!

Look at the dust on top of the tape wrapping the wiring loom bit. Whistle Whistle

I think a coat hanger might work to punch holes through, though looking at 3 2.5mm2/30amps pulled through so might need to be three holes with the coat hanger. Will all have to be fed from the inside, not even SWMBO can get her dainty mits to that grommet from the engine bay. Just got to get those pesky loom wires out of the way. Whistle

Some silicon grease will help the cable pass through the grommet keeping it a tight fit. If you don't have the Silicon then some washing up liquid will also do the job Thumbs Up

Lube up your rubber

One hole will do Smile

Managed to get a metal coat hanger (the only one in the house!!!) through the rubber lining just as where it should be. Thumbs Up

3 x 30 Amp cables in a 10mm sleeve then fed back from the cabin to the footwell.

Crappy pic but the sun was out!! Had to take the aux battery out and undo some of MrH's fab work, but was all put back OK. Thumbs Up

Only thing lost was the grommet, it fell inwards. But it being a LR gaffer tape was suitably deployed. Thumbs Up

Couldn't have done it without SWMBO, she's promoted to Gopher in Chief. Thumbs Up

Careful... Grommet doesn't just keep water and dirt out, it stops wires rubbing on metal edges too.

Agreed, the 3 cables and their sleeve come straight out and the tape is holding them in that position. Will sort out a grommet later though. Thumbs Up

Well footwell is back to normal. The cable to the relay in the behind glovebox fusebox is through and connected up and the other two cables are furled up and stashed behind the footwell trim.

Of course everything is fused, but just the one cable has a fuse in it, the one to the relay position. The fusebox is held nicely in position by double sided tape so it's not going to wander around. ISTR the fuse in the main fuse box is 20A, I've bunged in a 15A fuse in the aux fuse box. Thumbs Up
