36.1 MPG - is this a record?

I travelled from near Abersoch to home South Cheshire using a variety of roads, cruise control when possible set at 63 mph, and monitored the MPG reading throughout the journey. Best reading as I came off the A55 was 36.1 MPG - the highest that I have recorded so far in 2 months of D3 ownership. The overall average for the 130 mile journey was 35.7 MPG. I am pleased with this, what would you consider a good MPG return?

The trip comp lies to make you think you are actually saving the planet! Can be 2 - 5 mpg over. Best actual fuel in vs distance I've got is 36.1 (coincidentally) with cc at 60 and a mega tail wind. Over 61k mikes averaging 25.4. Sad

No, someone else would have taken it while he was still driving of course Wink
 Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

I would Reply:
"Duratrac"
