I think I had thought about a Japanese import but managed to confuse myself - I thought they got a different V8 - but it does appeal because the Jap cars will get a lot less abuse and mileage than South African ones. There's a few Jap specialist importing stuff so there's a starting point - not sure I have the sphericals to bid in a Japanese auction myself.
Bowler would be a great place to go - but my cheque book probably wouldn't stretch that far!!

Definitely the same V8 - same complete vehicle, from the same assembly line.
If anything, Jap market ones tend to have more extras as standard. Especially the V8, which is almost fully loaded. King of the typo.
MY11 D4 5.0 V8, Bournville, lots of goodies!
Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!
