5th Birthday
The old bus has just turned 5 year old and I've decided to keep it so I thought I'd treat her to a bit of TLC
Changed the diff fluid front and rear and was pretty surprised how clean the fluid was and also the small amount of paste on the magnetic drain plug. The local dealer was the cheapest for the Castrol oil
Changed the original Osram Xenarc headlight lamps with the same and the difference is noticeable but not spectacular but at £50 the pair it was worth doing.
Mid service engine oil and filter change, this has been done religiously since new and on a recent MOT the emissions test proved pointless as he couldn't get a reading.
New Cooper LTZ 285/50/20's all round.
Two Lazer Led Triple R1000 Elite lights for the front of the ProSpeed rack. These are ridiculously bright and cast a long long way in front of you. They are switched on and off from the adaptive cruise buttons on my RRS heated steering wheel.
And last but not least I'll get round to fitting the ProSpeed tree slider step inserts over the weekend.
This is the longest I've owned a motor and I still look over my shoulder after locking it up.Club Exped trailer

We definitely need to wait till the weather changes. Going out and churning up the lanes is not good for PR.Club Exped trailer

Churn it up and in a few months there will be little or no sign.
We got in trouble from SEPA on a section we used every two years or do. As I was Oberleutnant of the Club at the time, they called it Chairman, I had to go along to plead our case.
The date for Inspectoon dragged on and on so it was a least a year before we did the viewing.
The lady from SEPA said "What a mess I saw, the burn (stream) was running brown with mud, the deep tyre tracks were dreadful, etc., etc."
We got there and she was gobsmacked. Burn trickling along clean as could be, no discernible ruts and grass looking really good with lots of wild plants.
She actually almost apologised..... Are you sure this is where it was was one statement....
The ground will repair itself if not overused is my opinion.
We used to get lots of Forestry sites but now there are Windmill Farms where we used to play, any Forest sites left have so many constrictions it's not worth the hassle.Stew,
2010 D4 gone but I really loved it
