mines a got a cd error which due to worn plastic cd tray parts just after if someone done a write up or guide on repairs/stripping down.

There is one, the CD error usually means there is a little bit of plastic broken off the CD internals which can be fixed by melting a paper clip into it.
I posted up looking for someone with a 3d printer.
Hang fire whilst I find the thread
