there's an amp under the drivers seat for starters - if you can find the line-outs then you MIGHT be able to bodge it... but I have no expertiseSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

low line model has the speaker wires coming from the stereo to the speakers ...hi line model has no speaker outputs as they are sent through the MOST BUS
Also to make it work you need the following
The IHU (Integrated Head Unit) unit also integrates with the navigation system, this requires the addition of a navigation computer, touch screen display and GPS (global positioning system) antenna.
Bad news im afraid G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Might be another approach for you I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

PM the guy who fitted it for more information, or talk to your local Car Audio Pioneer dealer I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Changing over to something like the pioneer double din unit is realatively easy with the base model radio ...
You can now buy an adapter plate to fit in place that allows the double din unit to look factory fitted .
You can even buy adapter wiring harness's that just plug in to the LR ones and convert the wires to the ISO that is on most new stereos.
You then can have stereo , sat nav , reversing camera , bluetooth kit ..and a whole host of things
