Well, at least 8 and possibly more! It seems I may have been carrying some extra mousey passengers in my engine bay!

No sign of the little blighters now though.

Hmmm; hope they haven't also been at the bend atop your fuel tank.

Think I've got away with any damage elsewhere. I suspect it happened at the previous owner's place as the car was parked next to a barn where the mice probably lived.

I've brimmed the tank a dozen or so times since buying it without losing any fuel so I think the tank is intact!
