Adaptive Bi-xenon lights

Hello,

Anyone has knowledge on whether the UK spec and US spec Discovery/LR3 are fitted with the same part number adaptive bi-xenon lights?

We are moving to the UK not that far in the future with our US spec LR3 in tow, and I am trying to understand how much of a headache it will be to adapt it to the local requirements.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

You will be facing a bigger issue than your bi-xenon headlamps - you will be driving on the other side of the road in the UK!! Razz Razz

Hmmm - no wonder you crash so much, the steering wheel is on the wrong side . . .

Famous line but from what film ?

I've heard that there is a switch on the back of the lights that you slide up to make it more suitable for driving on the other side of the road. Several people on here have been driving on mainland Europe with no problems.

Steering wheel might be another issue Smile

UK spec lights have the lever to swing the beam over for driving on the wrong side of the road but AFAIK know US spec ones don't as there's nowhere within normal reach of the US where it'd be required, have a look to be sure though. If it's not fitted it's probably best to buy a set of RHD lights from a dealer/ebay over here

Thank you! Very helpful, and I will check on mine tonight.

Do you know of the "lever" is true for both, -- adaptive and non-adaptive, -- lights in the UK vehicles?

Paul Hogan (aka Mick Dundee) and several other Australian indentities are under investigation by the taxation department for tax evasion. I think he would have been better off catching crocs in the bush, in the city, it's a jungle man!!
