Adjusting Xenon Headlamps for Europe or vice versa |
|
I have a 2007 D3 HSE with non-adaptive Xenon main beam. In my Owner's Manual it mentions a lever for adjusting for changing from RHS to LHS of the road (in my case as we are in Switzerland). However, upon opening I cannot see what they clearly point out ay a lever. There may be an adjustment (bare metal) on the left hand side - would this be it or did earlier models not include this adjustment? Thanks for the help!! Dave

I believe thats only on the adaptive lights, it actualy brings the kick up of light into a flat beam, i've always used it on my previous HSE models as they had adaptive lights as standard, but with the SE that I recently had the car just had normal xenon's and no lever for adjustment. I currently have RHD & LHD lights as it only takes 1 min to change the lights, pop off the grill, pull up the tabs on the headlight unit, pull the unit out, disconnect the electics block and then reverse the process, it's really that simple. Hope this helps.
