Adjustment of non BiXenons for continental driving

Folks

As I've just had both headlamps out, have I discovered flaw in my plan, that its only BiXenons that have the adjuster lever for driving on the dark side, as I cant see anything to adjust on my lowly halogens.

Is this the case.

If I've got to stick something on the glass, where does it go, in terms of what do you align/position the beam benders up with?

cheers

Al

Any chance I can get a copy

I have the lowly halogen headlights on our “S” and have spent ages trying to figure out the best place to put the beam benders… The instructions that came with them just did not match the D3 headlight… Appreciate some guidance or a picture of the headlights taped up. Off Skiing in 3 days and its finally snowing again. Looking forward to trying it in real snow. Thanks

If you happen to be heading off to France or Italy, might it not be safer just to leave the lights alone on the basis that the oncoming locals are often on the wrong side of the road anyway and you will need a decent spread of light to your left to see which part of the crash barrier the tailgater that just overtook you smashed into so you can avoid them? Shocked Wink

Rolling with laughter Very true, we managed to survive a trip across France last year, in the summer, so didn't need the lights much to see any of the complete nutcases that we encountered.

I must admit I never adjust or stick bits on my headlamps as I reason that as I have never seen a foreign registered vehicle being driven over here with those stickers on it's headlamps, why should I bother when I go over there. Apart from a few flashes, when I flash back, it's never caused me any problems. At least when they flash me, I know they've seen me.
