Advice: Tuff Trek Awning

Morning all, contacted Tuff Trek about an awning for the trailer, they are out of stock but more coming in at end of Sept. They also only have two colours available and only 2.5 meter length

Has anybody got any pics of a Dark Safari Yellow and a Dark Gray awning so I can see what they look like?

Also, worried 2.5 meters will be too long for the Sankey, any thoughts on this as well?

Cheers

Right, found some pics on he web, I think Yellow goes with my roof tent, so probably OK now on pics, but worried about the length.

The full trailer length is 2.74m from hitch to back, so is 2.5 too long?

Personally Iggy as we measured put when u were with me the other day 2.5m is rather long. Mainly for the reason of the amount that will be unsupported hanging over the front! Your length off the top of my head was about 1.87m I think so that is quite a bit of an over hang?!

Sort as I know they have no 2m ones in stock at the mo Big Cry

Big Cry

I keep trying to convince myself that 2.5 will be fine, I think you're right Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Edit:
They just came back and their recommended overhang is 75cm front and rear, my Sankey body is 1.87cm so leaving 63cm total overhang.......I think we may be ok, but not sure still Rolling Eyes

Mines a 2m in grey Thumbs Up

I'd not go for longer as my roof is 1.6M so one 400mm overhang on the front.

There's no point in having a rear overhang as really you need the trailer and awning to meet at all points to keep the setup weather tight Thumbs Up
