| Advice on water pump issues TDV6 |

Has anyone else had water pump issues on a TDV6? The car is about 150 miles away from me but the driver says there seems to be a coolant leak at the water pump or that area. He is needing to top the coolant up every 20 miles or so. He has now stopped driving and its at his house. Is the water pump easy to change? How long should it take. I intend to get an independant to sort it but dont want to get fleeced. I have found new pumps for about £45.00. Could it be anything else from the same area?
