It'll be interesting to hear what they do and whether they fix it.

The workshop manual is a bit vague about the 3 different messages, and says that the triggering of the messages is based on a percentage of battery capacity available with the engine off. The percentage can change based on several factors - although it doesn't say what those factors are Rolling Eyes

Once triggered, the resetting of this message will not occur until the vehicle is driven for 10 minutes with the engine running.

It does seem that the BMS looks at the SoC of the primary battery. If that falls by 7% in 5 minutes, the BMS sends a message to the gateway module (GWM), which in turn sends CAN bus messages to all the other control modules asking them to shut down. If after another 15 minutes the SoC of the primary is still dropping, then the BMS sends a Power Disconnect message to the GWM, which in turn sends a message to the QCCM to open it's internal relays and cut power to any modules associated with the infotainment and climate control systems.

I was just browsing the D4 Accessories Catalogue today and came across Part No. VPLVV0077.

They call it a Battery Conditioner! Looks very similar to a CTEK charger! I'll admit that I've never seen a manufacturer selling a battery charger as an accessory before - do you think that Land Rover know something we don't Rolling Eyes

My AGM start stop battery stopped getting better at 12.99V. Didn't seem to want to hit the 13V barrier. It was 13.05V when bought new. But admittedly I ran out of time and had to put it back in the car. Very happy nonetheless. Thumbs Up

Just a quick update on my battery problems. It's been in to the dealer as I'd reported low voltage and that the FBH wasn't running for long enough.

Thanks to some of the posts I found here, I quoted the TSB number at them, and got a call shortly after saying that they'd be ordering the parts quoted in the TSB. However, they did say that my battery was OK, even though I couldn't get it to charge much above 12.3V. He also said that he'd just reset the BMS after fitting the new lead. I questioned this and asked whether he'd read the SSM from Land Rover that states that "under no circumstances should the BMS be reset unless fitting a new battery". They also did a software upload, but not sure exactly what software was changed.

Happy to say that I now have a new battery that is sitting happily at 12.97V, the FBH runs for the time it should, and the 3 minute warning has disappeared.

It just goes to show how useful this forum is and how knowledgeable the members are. If I hadn't got the info from the likes of Drivesafe Thumbs Up , I'd have just been palmed off with my old faulty battery Bow down
