Air Bag Warning Light

Hello Folks, can anyone offer any help with this please.
If I get into my truck, close the drivers door and start the engine, the air bag light goes out as normal. However if i open the door with the engine still running the air bag light comes on with 1 bong and stays on even if i close the door. This also happens if i start the vehicle with the drivers door open. I took it to the stealers and they told me it was an intermittent fault with crash sensor B2 (i think) in the door and to take the inner door trim off and check for a loose wire etc. I am intending to do this at the weekend BUT surely if there was a loose wire it would be loose all the time ?
Has anybody come across this before ?
Thanks in advance. Nigel

Thanks for that, it looks like the same problem as mine. I will take it all apart this weekend and inspect. Thanks again.

Spot on, the door connector was not properly fitted and it seemed to "click" together but i might have imagined that whilst shrinking my hand to get to the rear of it. But the air bag light now is as it should be - off after a couple of seconds and remains that way.
A big thanks for that.

I didn't take the door panel off, i went for the big black door wiring to car harness connector block in the car side door frame. Have a look at the posts above and the pictures in it - very helpful. I removed the lower footwell wing panel which was a 5 min job then contorted my hand inside and it seemed to click. One note to mention is that i first got the car connected to a diagnostic machine to establish what was the cause of the error and it said crash sensor B1 in drivers door intermittent error. Also mine ONLY came on if i opened the drivers door with the engine running so it hinted at a wiring type error.
