Air filters

Eve all what are your thoughts on uprated air filters in the stock air box on a 2.7v6 td
1 the price
2 any gain if any or less

i replaced oem filter with a britpart washable one cost about £20 but you never replace just wash. personally i can't notice perfermance difference no increase in mpg but lower servicing costs Patman

I use OEM filter only. Aftermarket ones won't provide any hp gain.

I buy the BP ones at less than 4 quid a pop, replace it every 3 months
