That sounds really good. Is the job of fitting very complicated? Are any special tools needed or recalibration of suspension through use of laptop and software.

I can't find the instructions, but there are some on here somewhere.......

Assuming you've had all the service software updates, then you may not need the software update that the very early ones needed.
Nick do you have any more info?

If you do decide to do it yourself, give ma a shout as I'd be happy to lend a hand so i know for when mine gives up! Smile

Only question now is how to de-pressurise the system without the software.....

HI Bodsy I have got the pdf file that shows the removal of the compressor and subsequent refitting. It loofs very straight forward. My concern is that I do not have the car serviced at the main deelers and therefore it has not ben updated I guess since around 45k miles. It has been serviced as per the book by independent mech but has not been updated. Do you think that this will mean it may need recallibrating?

I would get an experienced independent to do it who has all the right electronic kit to do the setup.

Drop Iain at Offroad Essentials an email (not PM).

Nick,

If I PM you my chassis number, could you check to see if mine has had the update please?

Also, what would be the timescales for getting a compressor from order to delivery as mine has gone Sad

Thanks

Ade

Chances are it's the filter / dryer that's failed, not the compressor - parts cost is circa £45, most dealers will replace the compressor assembly as the filter / dryer is part of this but is also available as a seperate item - I have both in stock Wink

My local dealer gave me a price on a compressor today and they have it in stock, but the part number seems to be different?

LR015089

Can anyone please confirm if that part number is OK?

Thanks

Adrian
