| Air Suspension Failure - twice!!!! |

For the second year running, during a family Easter holiday where we drove from Qatar to UAE and Oman the air suspension failed on our 2006 LR3  !! The first, over Easter 2007, was certainly a burst hose leading to the front units and the second, over Easter 2008, appeared to be the hose feeding the rear units (LR showed me the first failure, but I didn't get to see the second failure). On neither occassion were we 'seriously off-road', one was after travelling on hard dirt, the second on easy sand. Both times the failure occurred a couple of minutes after stopping the vehicle, with the suspension in 'off-road' position.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Anyone any idea what might have caused the failure?
Maybe I should just refrain from taking the vehicle off-road over Easter
