I thought the D3, D4, RRS all lowered at high speed - but thought it was over 110mph or something like that. never really bothered checking the facts as I never get chance to drive at that speed anymore..
Yup. its 100Mph. Manual says:
High speed height
If the vehicle exceeds 160 km/h (100 mph) for
longer than five seconds, the suspension ride
height lowers by 20 mm (0.75 in). This action
is automatic and cannot be over-ridden
manually. Ride height will return to normal
when vehicle speed remains below 130 km/h
(80 mph) for at least 30 seconds.
I like the lower look so would be cool if that ride height could somehow be selected manually
There is probably a mod somewhere

With the IIDTool you can set the Standard height to what you want and save it as one of the 3 User Settings - I use Setting 1 as "Factory", Setting 2 as "Off-road" and Setting 3 as "freeway" modes - it takes 5 seconds to restore any setting.

Hi M3DPO,
No, the IIDTool will not do that - yet, anyway. We are considering it - as well as allowing a mild raising of the off-road hight limit (mild=like 60kmh rather than the OEM 50kmh).
We are a bit worried about liability...
BTW, you related to C3PO?
JK
Sorry for the late reply, just noticed your post.
No I am not related to C3PO, but I am related to M4DPO! In the early days of me finding this site after I registering I could not
Log in, I kept getting 'account not active contact administrator' error message, without logging in how does one contact the administrator? I came up with the solution when I changed my ISP and got a new email address, consequently message notifications go to my ISP email address not my Hotmail address as I still use it and it is registered to M4DPO.
Any way keep up the excellent improvements with the Iid tool.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Was horsing up the M6 after picking up the wagon a couple of weeks back and was sitting around 105-110 for extended periods (where I could physically see the fuel gauge cringing with fear).
TBH, I didn't really notice any difference at all in the ride height..... it may well have dropped, but I never felt anything or saw anything. Mind you, it was dark, it was late and it was raining and I had my mind on other things! If in doot, flat oot!!
