yep, and advice from local dealer ( because it was a RED light ) was don't drive it and call LRA
Called LRA who said "we don't do airbag lights" and advised that I call the dealer again.
Dealer was puzzeled, but booked me in. I could have gone next day, but they didn't have any spare cars for 2 weeks, so (2 weeks later) that where I'm off to tomorrow. ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

Whick one? the one on the instrument panel or the one adjacent to the door locking switches? - if it's the latter, has someone disabled the passenger airbag?

Hey !
At least you won't end up going deaf or have yer face burnt if it doesn't go off
By the way... the passenger airbag off light is above and to the right of the centre console... and is yellow. Red would be in the instrument cluster.

I know someone with a RRS that intermittently reports an airbag warning light. It's been doing it for months and no fix as yet.

I have the same problem . My dealer who is very professional and uppdated, says this is caused by a stucked wiring under the seat .He has ordered new clips to realigne the wire to the airbags. This is a known problem.I have driven the car with red airbag lights for 3 weeks ,that is ok says my dealer, but I will soon go for a fix.

I had this, red light in the dash. It went into the dealers to be fixed took about 10 minutes and the fix was reseating the cable under the drivers seat.

there is a TSB relating to this, issued 26th of April 2006
LA501-025 Discovery 3/LR3 - Restraint Control Module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (B0070 1B, B0072 1B)
"Cause: The under-seat wiring harness of the seatbelt buckle pre-tensioner has been incorrectly routed. The subsequent tight harness run can lead to the above DTC logs when extremes of seat adjustment positions exert strain on the harness connectors "
