Last week the airbag warning light on my 2009 D3 stayed on after the engine was started.
I "recycled" the ignition a couple of times but the light stayed on, as it did for the rest of the day.
Since then the light has remained off - should I have the car checked by the dealer, or what other action should I take?

Has your car is still under warranty (as it is a MY09) I would get it sorted by a dealer.

I agree with zig.
When this happened to my D3, it was sorted by a software update.
