Aircon compressor clutch bearing

Has anyone attempted aircon compressor pulley bearing change? My vehicle is 2008 tdv6 and this does not look to be an easy job. There is a rigid plastic coolant pipe which is blocking access to compressor pulley. My experience with aircon pulleys has so far been - remove central pulley bolt , pulley circlip out , slide pulley out. If this job required a puller then I would need to cut the coolant pipe to create enough space to work in. Any advice from someone whose knuckles are as bloodied as mine would be much appreciated.

I did this (with help) swapped the entire unit. Serious ball ache and 10+ hrs work. Went in through the wheel arch as well as at the front. Very awkward and frustrating.

I attempted to undo the pulley but it was siezed solid so ended up replacing the whole unit as said above most of it is done via the passenger wheel arch like working thru a letter box.
