Alarm going off for no reason.
On occasion i'm getting the alarm going off about ten minutes after locking the car. This seems to be quite random and has only happened a few times.
On one of the occasions we found one of the windows a couple of mm down. But on all the rest everything was tight shut (or so I believe).
I have gone and re-shut all of the doors and checked that the windows are completely up, and not seen a re-occurance, but the wife has on one occasion (after checking all doors were properly shut/windows up, relocked car, and alarm went off a few minutes later).
Any ideas if this is a common thing, or am i just not slamming the doors hard enough, making sure the windows are properly up etc. Also any ideas ideas how we can tell if it is shut properly before we leave it. We are a bit worried that we might leave the car for a few hours and be unaware that the alarm may go off just after we have left it.

Spiders? Try double clicking the lock button to turn off the interior sensor to remove the potential for that?2020 SDV6 D5 HSE, Carpathian Grey +

I had mine doing that last year, turned out to be the bonnet switch with an intermittent faulty contact.
New switch sorted it for me.Clive

Mine was doing the same.
It was the bonnet switch, but I had to replace the bonnet switch & the plug.
They were both in a hell of a mess.

Thanks for all the replies.
I'll get the stealer to check the bonnet switch when it goes for it's service later this month.

Thanks for that! Solves my problem of it going off when I leave the dogs in it!
