Yes I´m pleased with it, the screen sits that bit lower now the mat is cut to sit in front so the top edge of the screen matches closer to the top dash edge. Cheers

Hmmm, sequence seems to be:
1. depress the brake pedal
2. engage the parking brake
3. release the parking brake
4. engage the parking brake
5. release the brake pedal.
to see movies and such on the screen.
The footbrake line seems to look for 12v.
The parking brake line seems to look for chassis ground.
Think I´ll rig up a couple of switches to sort it until any better idea comes up. Cheers

Sound volume isn't great on this monitor as the built in speaker is on the rear face ie into the cubby space. Nav volume was ok but when acting as a bluetooth handsfree it was unusable above 50mph.
Fix is to add an Alpine KAX-552N active speaker, feeds off the aux output and then gives you independent volume control over the phone and nav audio....other option is to splice the audio from the built in speaker out to the car aux but I'm not sure how the levels would work and pop goes the warranty on the monitor in any case...

Works great, I´ve since added the 2-din mounting bracket (supplied with the unit), cut down behind the unit for a really secure fit.
With the active speaker the Nav voice and bluetooth handsfree work great. The Sony Ericsson K800i I had worked so-so, but I have quite happily gone "back" to a Nokia 6230i and this downloads the phone book to the unit flawlessly.
Personally I prefer it to the factory-fit satnav in our RRS, the only thing you have to do manually is mute the stereo while taking a call...
The US and UK versions of this monitor are slightly different, the US version has connections to the park and footbrake that require a sequence of signals to access the setup and outgoing phone functions, this can be bypassed with a TR-7 trigger unit from the US (available via a google, not expensive at all). The UK version has a single connection to the park brake which would just need earthing to give access to these functions, you pays your money...
I´ve since also fitted my Alpine roof monitor, DVD changer and rear camera (see http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic16081.html)and they all work great with the monitor, with automatic selection of the rear camera when reverse is selected....the audion from the DVD player is available via a built-in IR transmitter for headphones and also via the aux socket at the rear of the centre console if audion through the speakers is required....all works very well and fitting was very straightforward.
