United Kingdom 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 Base 7 Seat Auto Java BlackDiscovery 3

Rolling with laughter

More than welcome , doesn’t take much to just share the info

Fingers crossed it may be the issue and indeed easier just taking the air filter box out

Please don’t forget to unplug ur MAF sensor at the front of the pipe right next to the filter box

Personally found it easier to take the top of the air filter box off first with the entire tube attached , then covering the air inlet on the RH side of the rad with a towel etc

There is a rubber round seal that goes on that large air intake pipe down by the RH of the rad

Then after pulling the base air filter box out , also easier when u put it back into the wing air inlet , base has rubber feet u push into the body

Looking forward to see if that’s the issue as will be a right result Thumbs Up

Can see in the pic the rubber feet
