Alternator output?

Hi

I am off to France fishing and there is no power. If I took a 120Ah leisure battery how long would it take to charge the batter with the car on tick over? 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

Days, they dont work like that, you have to travel miles to charge the battery on a Disco.

I recall my dad had a split charge system in his Granada.

He would put the caravan battery in the back connected up.

One drive out and it would be charged.

It was only 55Ah though.
