American owners: is there a workaround to in-motion map use?

I believe the non-US GPS units don't have this restriction, but has anyone figured out a workaround to the restriction on using most functions of the navigation system while the vehicle is in motion? There was a secret code the driver could input on the first-generation LR3/Disco3 GPS units, but I haven't heard of one yet for the LR4/Disco4.
