Thanks tommo, I don't think its a fuse as the compressor starts up when you start the car. Runs for 10-15 seconds then goes off and throws the fault.
I wondered weather its common to get issues with the reservoir? As the compressor isn't that old and does actually run.
Best Regards

Chris, I had a long battle with my suspension system (2005 diesel). All the pointers said to change the compressor but the mate that I had bought the car off had changed it before he sold it to me (less than a year) and he’d fitted a good one. Hours of fiddling and scratching of heads and eventually I bit the bullet and bought a new one. Fitted it, no difference! Re-fitted the old one (I’m good at that job now!) and continued to tinker. Diagnostic tools told us nothing. Eventually found out to be a missing (not blown, but missing!) fuse F35. The geniuses who spotted this fitted a fuse and the world turned rosy again.

Time!
Sorry for the delay I tried the fuse guys and it bells out ok. I pulled the fuse and it stops the compressor running so its the right one.
I also noticed that whatever he did the compressor now runs constantly when the engine is started.
I now have a trusty IID tool so should be good to do some proper diagnostics, the current codes are -
Suspension
C1A20-64 (AF) Pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir - Algorithm based failure - signal plausibility failure
( on 07-07-2018 3:02:15 pm at 173628 mi )
C1A00-54 (AF) Control module - System programming failure - missing calibration
( on 07-07-2018 2:59:43 pm at 173628 mi )
I tried using the IIDTool guided calibration but that didn't make a difference. Do you think a hard reset would be useful?
Regards
Chris

Hi Chris,
what`s the status of your car now? did you fix the fault code? I have exactly the same situation as yours. Really eager to know if there is any solution for this issue. Thanks

Hey Jayoi,
Not got the issue resolved, but I suppose can you ever class a land rover resolved.
Got the calibration error sorted, needed to rerun calibration and the the two steps that where missing was re-enable EAS mode and set back to normal tolerance.
Have you got any codes read from it?
Regards
Chris

got the dealer read the code and said C1A20-64. but had the same symptom as what you described. checked air leak with soapy water but no luck. might check the reservior again to see if there is any pin hole on it.

Do you have the AMK or hitachi compressor?

Lol, I know but just thought I should check.
Spent too much time diagnosing techie issues with users to trust my assumptions

Right first off apologies for the delay. Been mad busy with work and having to take the family away! (shucks!).
So still got the error but been through a few options and wanted everyones opinion on the next steps.
So far I have -
1. Remove the air intake filters, error still comes up so doesn't seem to be related to the intake.
2. Replaced the seals and drier granules from 4x4 air seals.
3. Replaced the Air reservoir as it was looking a bit shabby. When I got it off it wasn't as bad as I thought.
But alas still the same error - Pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir
What do you guys think the next best options are. Bite the bullet and replace the AMK compressor or further diagnostics.
Also I have seen the AMK kit on advanced factors as a kit for £385 but is this the best place to get it if technically I just need the compressor and not the full kit (bracket, pipes, relay etc).
