| amp & sat nav fuse blowing |

please can anyone help me my sat nav & stereo amp fuse keeps on blowing every time i put a new fuse in. the stereo stays lit up and i can change radio stations etc but no sound comes out has anyone else had this problem with there disco 3. somebody said it could be the amp that is knackered ? please can any one help me thanks

it could be a trapped wire under drivers seat . G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks for that i will have a look tomorrow to see if i can see any traped wires under the seat is this where the amp is ?

yes under the drivers seat ....put the seat right the way forward and you will be able to see it from the second row .
Might be worth unplugging the power lead to the amp (one on the left with red and black cable ) and see if the fuse blows then ... G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

hi wiggs have just unplugged the amp and put a fuse in and it did not blow i will examine the wiring later as i am at work if it is the amp that is knackered does any one know the price of a new one i bet its not cheap ?

SORRY FOR THE DELAY AS HAVE BEEN AWAY ON HOLIDAY AS WAS SUGGESTED THERE WAS A TRAPPED WIRE UNDER THE SEAT I REMOVED THE [LASTIC COVER FROM IN FRONT OF THE SEAT SO THE WIRING LOOM IS FREE THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
