Another day, another hotel, another town, another country...
Drove up from Westminster to Newport in South Wales this afternoon!
Was stopped on the A4 in Kensington when I saw this beastie crossing my path - just managed to snap it on the camera phone.
Its a Cairns Blue (or equiv) Full Fat Range Rover fitted with a bl**dy rack and high level spot lights - perfectly at home in Chelsea... or Morocco!!!
Also got stuck in two huge queues on the M4 - the first was on the elevated section in West London - saw a nice Bonatti HSE and a Black S in the jam. The second was at Newport in the queue to get off and in this case I was in front of a CE55 reg silver D3 - don't know whether any of them spotted the disco3 sticker.
Am now in the Celtic Springs Resort - a brilliant 5 star hotel surrounded by at least one golf course on the side of the hill by the M4 - Gareth, if you haven't already, I recommend you come and see this place!
Here's the view from my balcony - thats England in the distance and you can just see the New Severn Bridge!

Very posh, obviously a good expense account! I live just a few miles away, the locals call it Colditz. Hope U escaped OK.

I know it well steve. its the hq of the welsh golf union, so I go there occasionally. unfortunately, I usually end up in the lodge by the M4/A449 roundabout.

ohh I recognise that, was staying in Jury's Hotel in Kensington when I was at the Motor Show, the past 2 nights.
