That must be a huge relief that it’s getting sorted, although it never should have been a worry imo, the engine failed under warranty and needed fixing!.
Sorry to go a bit off topic here but does anyone know why these engines fail- even as late as a 2016 like the OPs!, yet the TDV8 and SDV8 which I believe are based on the same block are completely immune to this particular failure.
